Choosing the Right Way to Secure Your Rubber Flooring

There are three common installation methods, and the right accessories depend on which one fits your project:

Loose lay: The weight of the rubber holds it in place — no adhesive needed. Ideal for temporary spaces, rubber mats and smaller rooms. You'll still want cutting tools for a clean perimeter fit.

Double-sided tape: Our double-sided tape for rubber flooring secures the perimeter and seams of rolls and tiles without a permanent bond. It's the go-to for home gyms, renters and anyone who may reposition their floor later.

Polyurethane adhesive: For permanent, high-traffic and commercial installations, Eagle Grip polyurethane adhesive bonds rubber flooring directly to the subfloor. Spread it evenly with our V-notch trowel for full contact and proper adhesion.
